The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, and spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added ears to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when it controls your life.

last friday rockeeddd! budak rocks i tell u! =) they were fantastically fantastic..one of the best performance i've seen..even my mama got charmed over by budak(even though she doesnt wanna admit la) grin.but yeah.rocks i tell u.i think all budak fans will agree with me la.=) hopefully they sing in sept.heh.anyway joe..if u're reading this rite..everyone's glad u sang abuden=) heh.i miss manda.sigh oh well.lala.had a really nice chat with jeremy just now.heh.he's really a good friend man.realised alot of stuff too.-shrug- oh well.glad to be building up on my church network.anyway.gonna study.ciao.

wont be blogging much anymore...i shldnt be also.must study for prelims le.plus my internet is only during certain periods of time..so not blogging much.really damn freaking scared now.didnt do well for mids.so.prelims is all the way chiong le.oh well.hmmm many things happened after sch reopened.practically every wk i have a test.which means even more studying.cos i cannot afford to do badly for all my tests anymore.the new exco of the 30th have been announced..really happy for them=)
yesterday was youth day celebration plus the appreciation ceremony of the 29th Student Council.we have unofficially stepped down..after a whole term of office.memories man.hai will blog abt it when i return from retreat tml.well im going for a retreat in school..damn happy.need to be spiritually renewed.=) wah.yesterday
alan just had to make us cry man.we all werent crying at first..but he showed us a powerpoint that contained all our memories..and the girls just started crying..and we were all hugging and everything like tt..damn sad.i mean we will still be seeing each other in school till the end of the yr..but the fact is that we're stepping down as the present council..no longer be doing wad we had been doing..council room..council ppl..we're all gonna miss them all..thats why. -shrugs- oh well.
anyway.to the new exco of the 30th.all the best k.u guys have all been elected for a reason.so make sure u fulfil that reason kae? love u guys.take care darlings.

tired man.packed my room today.had papers and papers all over the place..at least now its packed into different boxes le.looks more presentable also la.dunno why.having a terrible headache now.since evening.sigh.
well.didnt blog abt the time i went out with
adel and mel on thurs..had fun that day=) been loong since i went out with that two la.esp
mel.missed her man.but as usual la..the
wus will meet and combine power and suan me.haii haha used to it liao man.just play along lor.heh.we were like 3 pple walking and laughing and trying on shoes..damn rubbish la.heh.the next time we go out..it'll be kbox! hehe.
friday went out with my council ppl to
glutton square to eat.haha in the end we were on tv! haha.
siong chew got interviewed! haha.damn funny.it was like u look across
glutton square and u see a bunch of blue ppl eating.hehe making alot of noise somemore.hehe damn funny.=) good bonding time.after all, the 29th is beginning to step down from this friday on.hai sad.will miss my council.alot.hai.but good also la.can concentrate fully on my ever slacking studies.promised myself and i cannot gu fu my two mentors.so must jia you and study.=)
sch reopening tml.its gonna be a tiring and stressful term 3..

ok exams are finally over.finally.i've waited long for it.hah oh well.had lotsa fun the last two days going away frm work and all.=) hmmm will blog abt it maybe tml la.
i just watched
last samurai.gee damn sad la.im damn sad.i mean, when i was watching the show..i was wondering.why is it that everyone just cant live on earth happily? why must there be war? is it really that necessary? i mean like in the movie.if they all would just accomodate each other..all the samurais would not have died.everyone would be happy.i mean why cant that stupid omura person just modernise and keep the samurai way of life? i nearly cried when katsumoto died.gee felt even worse when the camera started going in slow motion filming the way the samurais were dying..showing their courage and determination to fight for wad they believed in..some of them didnt even get the chance to fight la.and they're dead before they noe it.sheesh dunno how to explain the kind of feeling im feeling now.i guess my pms is making the mood worse.gee but im just super not in the mood now la.sheesh oh well.hai
